Electric Services and Billing is located on the 2nd Floor at 606 Fort Totten Drive, and is comprised of four separate units:   

Meter Readers read about 18,000 electric and 14,000 water meters monthly.  Electric and water meters must be kept accessible for reading and maintenance.  Make sure that shrubs, fences, sod, and animals do not interfere with meter access.

Electric Service Crews make up electric connections from the transformers to the customer’s point-of-delivery. They install temporary services used for construction, respond to power outages, and repair and install street and area lights.

Service Technicians turn on and off electric and water services when customers move in and out and also test and calibrate electric meters.

Billing processes handheld meter reading units and addresses customer inquiries about bills and services.
