Section 1. That there are hereby established fees for connections to be charged water and sewer customers of the City of New Bern with effective date of October 1, 2006, as follows:

Section 3. Rates for connections in excess of the meter sizes listed in section one shall be established by the Board of Aldermen after consultation with city staff.

Section 4. Tap fees established with contract customers shall fully comply with contract terms for increases in these fees.

| Section 5. Meter set fees are included in the connection fee charges as established herein. |
Section 6. That previous ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
|
| Section 7. That is Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on October 1, 2006. |
