ABOUT US
Customer Service, a division of the Finance Department,
is responsible for accepting utility payments from the City’s approximately
24,000 utility customers. Payments may be made at the office located
at 606 Fort Totten Drive over the counter or at the drive-through.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additionally,
payments may be mailed or deposited in a drop box, and are also accepted
by telephone and internet through a third-party payment service.
New utility accounts, both business and residential, for electric, water,
sewer treatment, and refuse services are also established at this office.
Customers can also get help with payment concerns and information on ways
to conserve resources and reduce utility bills. Information is also available
on agencies that may be contacted for payment assistance. The City offers
its utility customers programs to equalize payments over the period of
a year and to automatically pay from a checking account.
