Prospective vendors are encouraged to visit the City’s Warehouse.  We try to see all vendors who call, and it is our intention to be courteous, honest, fair, and impartial.  We fully endorse the practice of open public procurement and make every effort to write specifications to encourage competitive bidding and give vendors an equal opportunity to submit prices.  We believe it is good buying practice to have more than one active source of supply.  We are interested in any new materials, equipment, or ideas which will result in savings to the City.

Once your completed application is received, you will be notified by email and your company’s name will be added to the City’s list of registered bidders.  Placement on the bidder’s list makes your company eligible to receive bid solicitations from the City of New Bern.
