The Greater Duffyfield Residents Council (GDRC) is an organized effort between residents, concerned citizens, faith-based institutions, youth, businesses, public agencies, and law enforcement. GDRC is committed to building an environmentally, socially, economically, and culturally sound community. Among other activities, the Residents Council has sponsored, in conjunction with the City of New Bern, the Neuse River Community Development Corporation, various organizations, businesses, and citizens, three very successful Greater Duffyfield Unity Family Festivals.

All residents of the Greater Duffyfield community are members of the Residents Council. Residents are welcome to attend the periodic meetings to address their concerns regarding the community.
