The City of New Bern employment procedures begin by applying through the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina. Interested applicants may apply by completing and submitting an application. The Employment Security Commission will not accept applications until they have actually announced openings. Once the closing date has been completed, the applications are sent to the City of New Bern's Human Resouce Department, where they are reviewed.
