EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of New Bern has worked consistently since the 2006 Master Plan to improve and expand its services and facilities. A number of the recommendations from the 2006 study have been implemented such as trails, picnic shelters, the dog park, outdoor swim facility, piers/docks, and a recreation center renovation, just to name a few. There is so much more to accomplish.
