Historic Preservation Commission 

Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Courtroom, Second Floor, 300 Pollock Street. 

HPC Design Review meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Development Services Conference room, 303 First Street.

What is the Historic Preservation Commission? 

**Due to the forecast for inclement weather, the HPC will postpone its January meeting until Wednesday, January 31st at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Courtroom, 2nd floor, located at 300 Pollock Street.**

MEETING AGENDA:

1. Opening of Meeting with Roll Call
2. Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting(s)
3. New Business:

A. 613 Pollock Street (Tryon Palace) - to include the construction of an accessory structure in the secondary AVC (this is an after-the-fact request).
B. 717 E. Front Street - to include the new construction of a residence.
C. 220 Pollock Street - to include the enclosure of a balcony and roofing addition in the tertiary AVC; removal of a wooden deck and ramp in the tertiary AVC and a building of unknown contributing status; installation of an addition to the main structure connected via breezeway in the tertiary AVC.
D. 1514 National Avenue - to include the installation of a wooden privacy fence and a wooden deck int he tertiary AVC; to replace a single plate glass window with a 6/6 window in the primary AVC.

A. No minor works issued.
B. Demolition by Neglect year end report.
