Fire-Rescue: Crowd Manager Training

As part of North Carolina's new 2012 Fire Prevention Code, trained crowd managers are now required at any event where more than 1,000 people are in attendance. The State has created a training module that provides a learning tool to people who are employed at businesses or venues where events meet this threshold.

Click on the link below for a self-paced learning environment that, upon completion, certifies the employee as a crowd manager. Users will learn the history of why the Crowd Manager requirement became part of the code, and see an outline of the basic requirements for a crowd manager and the duties of this position.
