TOWER-1 A 2000 Sutphen 100’ aerial platform with a "Sutphen-unique" four section boom which allows for a 252" wheelbase for easy access to New Bern's historic district.  Tower-1 has a 1500 gpm pump and can flow full capacity from two 750 gpm nozzles located on the bucket.  Manned with one officer and two fire specialists, Tower-1 provides first-due truck company operations citywide.

ENGINE-12

This 1986 Quality was built in Alabama on a Ford Chassis.  It has a 1000 gpm pump, carries 500 gallons of water, 1000 feet of 5" supply hose, and several hundred feet of attack line.  Engine 12 serves as second-due from our Headquarters Station.

 TRUCK-19

Used by our Technical Rescue Team, Truck-19 is a 1992 International with a Hackney body.  This Emergency Support Vehicle has a 5 KW generator, rescue tools, and our own breathing air filling station.  Truck-19 responds only when needed for specialized technical rescues or large-scale emergencies.

COMMAND-1 This 2003 Ford Excursion is utilized by the Shift Commander, who generally serves as Incident Commander.

ENGINE-21 Engine 21 is a 1993 Sutphen custom cab with a 1500 gpm fire pump and a 500 gallon water tank.  Completely refurbished in July, 2006, Engine 21 now boasts a black cab to go along with New Bern's colors of red and black.  Engine 21 is housed at Station #2, and serves as first-due in the Taberna and Evans Mill areas.  Engine 21 is manned with one officer and two fire specialists.

ENGINE-41 This 1999 Sutphen has a rescue body allowing for the short wheel base.  It has a 1500 gpm pump with a 500 gallon water tank, 1200 feet of 5" supply hose, and several hundred feet of attack line.  In addition, Engine-41 is equipped with a telescoping light tower that enables us to "light up" any type of emergency scene.  Based at Station #4, Engine-41 serves as first-due in that area.  Engine-41 is manned with one officer and two fire specialists.

RESERVE-1 A 1983 Quality, this engine has a 1000 gpm pump with a 500 gallon water tank.  Reserve-1 is housed at our Headquarters Station and can be quickly placed into service at any station.
