The New Bern Fire-Rescue Volunteer Division is overseen by Deputy Chief Robert M. Boyd, Jr. While their primary function is fire suppression, they also participate in other fire department activities and man stations with career firefighters.
Our division meets the first Monday of each month to conduct normal business. We train with career firefighters the second, third, and fourth Mondays of each month.
